Angie Snow knew from the time she was a young girl, she wanted to gain an education and inspire others. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from BYU, and her Master’s Degree in Math from SUU. Angie’s career began as an elementary school teacher. For seven years, she enjoyed teaching and motivating her students to achieve their goals. In 2007, she and her husband Ryan made the entrepreneurial leap by purchasing Western Heating and Air. Angie is the Vice President of Western and currently oversees the marketing, business development, accounting and human resource operations.
One area Angie has worked hard to change at Western Heating and Air, is the perception that HVAC companies are male dominated. Angie has recruited and retained several valuable female employees including technicians, salespeople, and service managers. Her goal is to help women see the service industry as an excellent choice for a rewarding career. She has also spearheaded ways for HVAC companies to market to female consumers more effectively. Angie said, “Women are the ones who are making most of the decisions when it comes to home maintenance these days. I wanted our marketing messages to appeal to women. Our sales have increased since we began to focus our marketing messages on women.” Because of her inspiring example, Angie was awarded “Service Woman of the Year” in 2016 at the Service World Expo in Las Vegas. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Women in HVACR.
If you ever get the chance to meet Angie, she will make a lasting impression on you with her warm, genuine smile and her contagious energy. She loves working alongside her husband, being a mom to four awesome kids, and spending time outdoors with her family. Angie is passionate about volunteering in her community and church, giving motivational speeches to groups of business owners, as well as recently becoming a performance coach. She also makes a pretty good looking cowgirl on Western Heating and Air’s logo!
